The solidification point is 20.1 C, the melting point is 20.2 C, the boiling point is 228 C, the relative density is 1.0171 (20/4 C), and the refractive index is 1.4461. Flash point (cup) at 121 C. Soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, slightly soluble in ether. It is hygroscopic and odorless, while the entrance is slightly sweet.
